Based on the advanced concepts that “the fetus is also a person” and “a diseased fetus is also a patient,” our center is committed to making assessments of problems in developing fetuses as promptly and accurately as possible. Through serum screening, ultrasound, and invasive prenatal diagnosis, it assesses the fetal blood flow, structure, genetic status, and infection status in utero, performs intrauterine interventions and fetoscopic treatments for fetal diseases, among other measures, and strives to ensure the healthy development of fetuses to the greatest extent possible and reduce the occurrence of birth defects, thereby alleviating the emotional harm and economic burden that congenital abnormalities bring to the families of affected children and society. Scope of Services of the Center I.
