Interventional and Vascular Surgery
The Interventional Vascular Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the People’s Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is one of the larger centers in the region, with relatively advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies and equipment. Our department was among the earliest in the region to initiate interventional radiological treatment and officially established an interventional ward in July 1998. It is a comprehensive interventional diagnosis and treatment specialty organized as a formal hospital ward, consisting of an outpatient department, inpatient wards, and interventional operating rooms. Following the comprehensive reform in April 2018, the Department of Interventional Radiology was integrated with the Department of Vascular Surgery to form the Department of Interventional Vascular Surgery. It currently has 14 physicians, including 1 chief physician, 5 attending physicians, and 5 resident physicians; among them are 1 doctoral student and 8 master’s students. There is 1 master’s student supervisor.
This is a sincere, united, responsible, and courageous team of young physicians who are committed to their duties and cherish their dreams.
The academic leader, Director Ma Jun, currently serves as Chair of the Vascular Minimally Invasive Intervention Branch of the Ningxia Medical Association, Chair of the Minimally Invasive Intervention Branch of the Ningxia Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the Interventional Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, among other positions.
