Health Management Department

The Health Management Center of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University was established in 1998. Drawing on the hospital’s comprehensive resources, it operates across two campuses: the Jiefang campus center covers more than 4,000 square meters and the Qianjin campus center more than 1,800 square meters. Both have group examination and VIP areas. Supported by a team of specialists, doctors and nurses and internet technology, the center integrates health examinations, risk assessment and health information into life-cycle health management. It has established a standardized process from early assessment and individualized screening to post-examination health management.

The center is a national health management demonstration base, the chairing institution for the Shanxi Medical Association’s health management committee and the Shanxi Medical Doctor Association’s health examination and management committee, and the host institution for the Shanxi Health Examination and Management Medical Quality Control Center. The provincial health commission has designated the hospital for health examinations of provincial and bureau-level officials, representatives and members of the two legislative and advisory sessions, and civil servants. It also provides the public with individual and group examinations and personalized health management, aiming to offer comprehensive, convenient and high-quality services.
