Expertise in the diagnosis and management of common and refractory glaucoma. Has excellent ophthalmic surgical skills and can competently perform modern glaucoma and cataract operations, including minimally invasive and conventional procedures. Minimally invasive procedures include combined cataract–glaucoma surgery (phacoemulsification ± goniosynechialysis + goniotomy), minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (peripheral iridectomy + goniosynechialysis + goniotomy), and various goniotomies (120–240–360°, including ab interno 360° (GATT), ab externo 360° (MAT), XEN implantation, UCP, and micropulse therapy); conventional procedures include trabeculectomy and aqueous-humor drainage-valve implantation; also proficient in combined procedures integrating the above minimally invasive surgeries with phacoemulsification.
