【Department Name】General Practice 【Department Overview】The Department of General Practice of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University was established in 2014. It is a high-level comprehensive general practice clinical department of a tertiary grade-A hospital and is also the affiliated unit of the Xiamen Home Hospital Bed Service Quality Control Center. Based on the advantages of the comprehensive platform of a tertiary grade-A hospital, the department has deeply cultivated the characteristic development of general practice and has now built a high-level characteristic department integrating medical care, teaching, research and professional quality control; it always upholds the integrated medical service concept of "people-centered" and provides patients of all populations and across the whole life cycle with accurate, continuous and integrated closed-loop services of medical treatment, health care, prevention, rehabilitation and health promotion. 【Scope of Diagnosis and Treatment】It mainly receives adults with common and frequently occurring diseases of various systems, covering mild conditions of multiple systems such as respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine and neurological internal medicine, including common diseases such as pulmonary infection, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, chronic gastritis, insomnia, dizziness and headache, sarcopenia, osteoporosis and osteoarticular pain. With a general practice mindset, it has unique advantages in the treatment of geriatric diseases, multiple diseases and comorbidities. 【Characteristic Techniques】The department can fully integrate the high-quality multidisciplinary medical resources of the whole hospital, coordinate the technical strength of specialized diagnosis and treatment, solve the diagnostic and treatment difficulties of coexisting multiple diseases, difficult and complex chronic diseases, undifferentiated diseases and geriatric comorbidities, truly realize the tertiary grade-A general practice characteristic service model of "general practice coordination, specialty support, accurate diagnosis and treatment", and provide patients with efficient, high-quality and personalized comprehensive medical services. 【Expert Team】There are currently 6 chief physicians and 6 associate chief physicians, among whom 4 hold doctoral degrees. 【Department Location】19th floor, Building 3
