Haematology

The Department of Hematology of Zhejiang Hospital was established in 2014 and is a hospital-level key clinical specialty. It currently has 25 beds, 4 Class 100 laminar-flow rooms, 12 laminar-flow purification beds, and 1 blood-treatment collection bed. The department has 6 specialist physicians, all of whom hold master’s degrees or higher, forming an academic team with young and middle-aged professionals as its technical backbone. Since its establishment, the department has developed rapidly. It now has strong technical capabilities, comprehensive departmental services, and well-equipped hardware facilities, and is a medical discipline integrating clinical care, scientific research, and teaching. The department mainly provides diagnosis and treatment for various hematological diseases and has developed distinctive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of red blood cell disorders, malignant lymphoma, acute leukemia, platelet disorders, multiple myeloma, and coagulation and bleeding disorders.
