Infectious Diseases Department

The Department of Chest Infectious Diseases at Zhejiang Hospital has 38 beds, 2 chief physicians, 3 associate chief physicians, and 13 staff members with master’s degrees. The medical and nursing team is highly experienced. The department is primarily engaged in the clinical care, teaching, and research of liver diseases and infectious diseases. Through many years of discipline development, the department has established a professional technical team characterized by high ethical standards, outstanding expertise, and strong teamwork. It has developed and implemented a number of highly effective specialized treatments and has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases including fever of unknown origin, intracranial infections, difficult and complex infections, severe hepatitis and various liver diseases, and jaundice of unknown origin.
