Obstetrics

The Department of Obstetrics of Zhejiang Hospital was established in 2004 and integrates medical care, scientific research, and teaching. After years of development, it has formed a medical team comprising professionals from three generations, older, middle-aged, and young, with capabilities in medical care, teaching, and research, and a well-developed talent structure. The department currently has 6 staff members with senior professional titles and 4 with intermediate professional titles. The delivery suite is equipped with general delivery rooms, isolation delivery rooms, a cozy delivery room, integrated labor-and-rest wards, and an emergency operating room, and can provide services such as vaginal birth after cesarean section, doula-assisted childbirth, painless childbirth, and companion-supported childbirth in a warm setting. Under the leadership of the hospital, all medical and nursing staff uphold the service philosophy of “patients first,” making services practical and attending to the smallest details. The pre-delivery room and delivery rooms have completed upgrading and renovation, with all facilities in place; the wards have been optimized and rearranged, with double rooms, single rooms, and VIP wards added to provide mothers with a more comfortable and quiet resting environment.
