Vascular Surgery
The vascular surgery department at Zhejiang Hospital combines clinical care, treatment of critically ill patients and development of a multidisciplinary collaboration platform. Drawing on the hospital’s geriatric medicine expertise and hybrid operating platform, it is building a hospital-wide care support system centered on vascular disease. It also collaborates with the vascular surgery department of the affiliated hospital of the University of Hamburg in Germany.
The department focuses on standardized and minimally invasive care for atherosclerotic diseases, venous thrombotic diseases and critical vascular conditions. It is developing a disease management system centered on venous thromboembolism (VTE), strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration within the hospital and improving comprehensive care for complex vascular diseases.
