Since becoming an independent department in 1989, the Department of Nephrology of Zhejiang Hospital has developed into a specialized department with 26 inpatient beds and 56 hemodialysis beds. After more than three decades of dedicated development, it has now become a kidney disease diagnosis and treatment center and a blood purification treatment center integrating clinical care, teaching, and scientific research. “Wholeheartedly helping patients overcome their pain and suffering” has always been the department’s guiding principle.
