Anesthesiology and Operating Department

The Department of Anesthesiology and Surgery of Zhejiang Hospital is a key clinical specialty in Zhejiang Province and one of the first national standardized residency training bases. It is a core hospital platform discipline integrating medical care, teaching, and research. At present, the department provides surgical clinical anesthesia, comfort-oriented diagnosis and treatment, anesthetic sleep therapy, and comprehensive management of refractory symptoms in patients at the end of life. It is equipped with 25 modern laminar-flow operating rooms, including one digital hybrid operating room. The department has more than 100 medical and nursing staff, including 33 anesthesiologists, 3 chief physicians, 3 deputy chief physicians, and 7 anesthesia nurses. All members are devoted to safeguarding the life and health of every patient.
