Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine, Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The department provides anesthesia for nearly 20,000 various surgical procedures and performs more than 550 interventional pain procedures annually. It is fully equipped, has comprehensive technical capabilities, and serves as a master’s training site in anesthesiology & pain medicine. It currently has 13 operating rooms, 4 endoscopy diagnosis and treatment rooms, 2 interventional operating rooms, 1 outpatient pain treatment room, and a 6-bed pain ward. Our department upholds the traditional culture of Chinese medicine, emphasizes the unity of body and mind, and pursues the harmonious development of clinical work, innovation, and health cultivation.
