Ophthalmology
The Department of Ophthalmology leverages the hospital’s strong foundation in neurology and geriatrics, as well as the strengths of its multidisciplinary collaborative team, and uses advanced technologies and equipment to treat various ophthalmic diseases. Every year, it helps patients overcome the burdens of eye diseases and brings them the gift of sight.
The Department of Ophthalmology comprises seven specialties: ocular refraction; corneal and lacrimal disorders; cataracts; glaucoma; fundus diseases and neuro-ophthalmology; orbital diseases; and oculoplastic surgery. Each specialty team is staffed by experienced physicians at all professional levels, providing patients with high-quality medical services. It is particularly distinctive in the prevention and treatment of age-related eye diseases and provides elderly patients with a wide range of convenient and practical care-seeking options.
