Dermatology and Venereology

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology is a doctoral training site in Dermatology and Venereology at Capital Medical University, a National Clinical Drug Trial Base, the Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Center for Sexually Transmitted Diseases of Capital Medical University, a Beijing Training and Assessment Base for resident physicians and general practitioners in dermatology and venereology, and a National Demonstration and Development Base for Dermatological Medical Aesthetics.

The department is fully equipped, with more than 100,000 outpatient visits annually. It has distinctive strengths in geriatric dermatology, cutaneous tumors, hereditary skin diseases, medical aesthetics, sexually transmitted diseases, and other areas. Alongside treatment, we place emphasis on patient health education, guiding patients to understand the damage that emotional and psychological factors can cause to the skin and caring for the skin at a deeper level.
