The Department of Blood Transfusion of Women’s Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, is an essential department that ensures the scientific, rational, safe, and effective use of blood at the hospital. It is a comprehensive clinical medical-technical department integrating medical care, teaching, and research. The Department of Blood Transfusion has always adhered to the diagnostic and treatment philosophy of “safety, science, and innovation,” serving patients with advanced blood transfusion treatment technologies and blood transfusion-related testing programs, and leading blood transfusion diagnosis and treatment in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. The department actively participates in multidisciplinary consultations with various clinical departments and operates an outpatient clinic for blood transfusion treatment and assessment, conducting consultations on the blood transfusion treatment of various difficult and complex diseases and providing diagnostic and treatment recommendations.
