Gynaecology

The Department of Gynecology of the Women's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, is the clinical, teaching, and research center for obstetrics and gynecology in Zhejiang Province. It currently comprises four clinical departments, Gynecology I, Gynecology II, Gynecology III, and Gynecology IV, focusing respectively on minimally invasive gynecology, endometriosis and adenomyosis, gynecologic endocrinology, and urogynecology and pelvic floor defects. It has 204 approved beds and approximately 12,000 inpatients per year. Based on the aforementioned specialty areas, it widely performs hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, transabdominal surgery, vaginal surgery, and other surgical treatments for benign and malignant gynecologic diseases, reaching a nationally leading level and the international forefront.
