Traditional Chinese Medicine

The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Women’s Hospital, Zhejiang University, is a national key specialty for the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in maternal and child health (Obstetrics and Gynecology integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine), a national training base for traditional Chinese medicine and the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in maternal and child health, and a national unit for the development of distinctive traditional Chinese medicine services for maternal and child health. It is also the institution serving as chair of the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of the Zhejiang Provincial Association of Maternal and Child Health and the Professional Committee of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Zhejiang Acupuncture Society. The Teaching and Research Section of Traditional Chinese Medicine is responsible for offering 6 international and general education courses in traditional Chinese medicine and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine at Zhejiang University.
