The Department of Laboratory Medicine of Tongji University Affiliated Stomatological Hospital offers a comprehensive range of specialties and is equipped with advanced instruments. It currently provides specialized testing in clinical biochemistry, clinical immunology, clinical routine testing, and other areas. The department is equipped with modern instruments and equipment, including a fully automated biochemical analyzer, a fully automated immunoelectrochemiluminescence analyzer, a coagulation analyzer, and a blood cell counter. It conducts routine biochemical indicator testing, testing of multiple infectious disease immune indicators, such as hepatitis B, syphilis, and AIDS, as well as coagulation, hematology analysis, and other laboratory testing items, providing support for clinical diagnosis and treatment and safeguarding patients. The Department of Laboratory Medicine also provides professional interpretation and consultation services.

The department has established a strict quality management system and implemented full-process information-based management of specimens, ensuring that test results are accurate and reliable. Paperless operation throughout the entire process greatly facilitates patients’ visits.
