The Department of Anesthesiology currently has 38 staff members, including 3 chief physicians, 10 deputy chief physicians, and 6 attending physicians. There are 2 doctors with doctoral degrees and 11 with master's degrees, as well as 1 deputy chief nurse and 4 supervising nurses. The department has 1 visiting professor from Germany and 1 visiting professor from Australia. The person in charge is Wang Hongwei.

Technical capabilities: The department undertakes all types of clinical anesthesia, critical care and emergency treatment, acute pain services, painless childbirth, painless gastroscopy and colonoscopy, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, rapid ultrasound assessment, invasive volume monitoring, transesophageal Doppler, blood conservation, and other technologies throughout the hospital. It can effectively provide anesthesia and pain management for enhanced recovery after surgery and day surgery.

The department has nationally advanced systems for acute pain management and perioperative blood glucose management, routinely performs airway and nerve block visualization techniques, and possesses advanced hemodynamic monitoring platforms, blood conservation technologies, and other capabilities. Our department has established partnerships with the Department of Anesthesiology of Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, and the Department of Anesthesiology of Jena University Hospital in Germany, providing abundant opportunities for international exchange.
