Diagnostic Imaging

Tianjin Eye Hospital’s Imaging Department has 7 medical and technical staff: 1 senior professional, 1 associate senior professional, 3 intermediate professionals and 2 junior professionals. It was included in the first list of hospitals whose imaging data are mutually recognized across Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. The radiological examination and diagnostic results have also been designated mutually recognized data by the Tianjin Radiology Quality Control Center, and the department receives multiple quality-control excellence awards every year in the center’s review. Department profile: it combines research, teaching and clinical care; the image quality and diagnostic level of ophthalmic imaging have reached an advanced domestic level, forming a modern imaging discipline. Department services: orbital CT, neck compression CT, dacryocystography, chest CT and chest radiographs are available; the department continues to develop ophthalmic imaging, follows imaging-technology advances, introduces modern equipment, expands examination projects and improves innovative imaging diagnosis. Equipment: the Medical Imaging Department has a GE DR system and a United Imaging 40-slice spiral CT, with hospital-wide PACS transmission and storage, online Cloud Imaging access and self-service printing of imaging films. Research and innovation: under Director Zhao Yikai, it filled one municipal Health Bureau gap in new technology, obtained two utility-model invention patents and published more than 10 professional papers.
