MDT Center

The MDT Center of Tianjin Eye Hospital, the first multidisciplinary ophthalmic collaboration team in Tianjin, brings together senior experts from multiple specialties, including fundus diseases, orbital diseases, glaucoma, corneal diseases, ocular trauma, and imaging diagnostics. Based on evidence-based medicine, it develops personalized, comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for patients with complex and challenging ophthalmic conditions. Since its establishment, the Center has conducted multidisciplinary consultations for more than 300 cases of complex and challenging ophthalmic conditions, accumulated extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases and complex cases, and become an important regional platform for the diagnosis and treatment of challenging fundus disease cases.
