Radiology
The department is the first in the country to realize “three noes and one all” (no film, no darkroom, no film archive, and full realization of computer digital imaging with the capability of image storage, retrieval, transmission and diagnosis), and it undertakes examinations such as digital computer radiography (DR), multislice spiral CT (MSCT) imaging and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It has four ultra-high-end CT scanners, two magnetic resonance scanners, three DR devices and three mobile bedside units. It was the first in the country to carry out coronary CT imaging, rapidly, non-invasively and with a low radiation dose detecting coronary artery lesions.
In the diagnosis of congenital heart disease and coronary heart disease, a number of technical studies have been appraised as projects that “fill a gap in Tianjin”: the application of coronary artery freeze-tracking technology in CT coronary imaging of patients without heart rate control, the application of high-definition spiral CT (HDCT) with different scanning modes in the display of the lumen of coronary artery stents, the clinical application of a new-generation 256-row wide-body detector CT combined with “double-low” technology in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease, the application of one-stop triple-rule-out chest pain scanning technology on the acute chest pain center platform, the application of single-cardiac-cycle CT coronary imaging technology at ultra-high heart rates, the application of multislice spiral CT (MDCT) low tube voltage technology in coronary imaging, the application of high-definition CT volume spiral shuttle technology in the preoperative diagnosis and assessment of complex congenital heart disease, and others.
