The Department of Endocrinology does not have separate inpatient beds and is responsible for blood glucose management for all patients throughout the hospital, particularly perioperative blood glucose control. The “3C” treatment regimen currently in use, combining insulin pump CSII with continuous glucose monitoring CGMS and Carelink for blood glucose, fills the gap in perioperative blood glucose management. At the same time, the department has accumulated extensive clinical experience in treating thyroid, adrenal, and pancreatic diseases, as well as various diabetic complications.
