Cardiovascular Function Department

The examinations performed in the department include: electrocardiography (ECG), ambulatory electrocardiography (Holter ECG), treadmill exercise testing, propranolol testing, atropine testing, transesophageal atrial pacing, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, head-up tilt testing, sleep respiratory monitoring, tele-electrocardiography, and remote ambulatory electrocardiography.

Remote ambulatory electrocardiography was initiated in May 2014; ECG diagnostic reports were issued for the Blood Diseases Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences; remote electrocardiography was initiated in December 2020. The “Remote ECG Center” was recognized as Tianjin Municipality’s 2021 “Internet + Medical and Health” Demonstration Smart Healthcare Service Project.

In May 2015, the Jiahe ECG Information Platform was launched, enabling ECG networking. In November 2015, ECG reports were issued promptly through the Jiahe ECG Information Platform, changing the situation in which no reports were available for bedside ECGs.
