Internal Medicine Department VIII
The department is primarily responsible for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of various types of cardiovascular diseases, including arrhythmias, coronary heart disease, hypertension, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure. At present, it independently and comprehensively carries out various cardiovascular interventional diagnosis and treatment procedures, including coronary intervention, pacing and electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation, left atrial appendage occlusion, and cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure. It is particularly proficient in various pacemaker implantation techniques, including single-/dual-chamber permanent pacemaker implantation, implantation of implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD) for the prevention of sudden death, and implantation of three-chamber pacemakers (CRTD) for the treatment of heart failure, as well as the use of radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation to treat various types of tachyarrhythmias, including premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia, pre-excitation syndrome, supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia, and premature atrial contractions.
All medical and nursing personnel in the department uphold the principle of “patient-centered care,” follow the hospital motto of “Universal Love · Saving the World,” and embrace the vision of “pursuing human health and building an internationally first-class cardiovascular disease hospital,” providing high-quality medical services to the vast number of patients.
