Ultrasound
The department has 18 high-end digital color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic systems and 4 portable color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic systems; 14 examination rooms are in operation. It provides color Doppler ultrasound examinations of the heart, abdomen, pelvis, small organs, peripheral vessels, and other areas, as well as intraoperative guidance and postoperative evaluation services for interventional and surgical procedures for various cardiovascular diseases, and the daily workload is approximately 500 patient visits.
Over the past ten years, numerous new technologies and projects have been carried out under ultrasound guidance: pediatric interventional occlusion procedures, left atrial appendage occlusion, left-heart contrast echocardiography, application of Z-score assessment in children with congenital heart disease, percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVI), left ventricular assist device (LVAD), fetal echocardiography, two-dimensional ultrasound speckle-tracking technology, and others.
The department has widely provided specialized ultrasound examination services, including transesophageal echocardiography, tissue Doppler imaging, real-time three-dimensional echocardiography, right-heart contrast echocardiography, and quantitative stress echocardiography; pediatric congenital heart disease screening has been conducted in more than 10 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions nationwide, covering nearly 60,000 patient visits.
