Medical Psychology

The Department of Medical Psychology of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital currently has 3 psychiatrists, including 2 full-time and 1 part-time staff members, all of whom hold senior professional and technical titles, as well as 1 full-time nursing staff member. The department is equipped with a complete set of internationally used standardized psychological testing tools and a computerized processing software system. It can conduct assessments of anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, sleep quality, somatic symptoms, interpersonal relationship conflicts, stressful events, personality, and other aspects, and has standardized psychological counseling, emotional release, and family therapy rooms. The department routinely provides counseling for common psychological problems such as adolescent psychological growth, school refusal, parent-child relationship conflicts, romantic, marital, and family problems among young and middle-aged adults, sexual psychology, and interpersonal interaction disorders; as well as pharmacological treatment for somatoform disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress disorders, bipolar affective disorder, schizophrenia, and other conditions.
