The Medical Laboratory Department of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital is a key medical specialty in Nanjing. It has four testing windows in the outpatient, emergency, inpatient, and Phase II areas, and six professional testing groups (hematology, body fluids, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, and molecular testing), occupying approximately 1,200 square meters. The department has 28 professional and technical staff members, including 4 with senior titles and 10 with intermediate titles; 2 doctoral degree holders and 8 master's degree holders. It has advanced routine and research instruments including fully automated biochemical analyzers, fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers, and fluorescence microscopes and imaging systems. It independently performs more than 500 tests (excluding outsourced tests) and provides accurate, timely, and convenient testing services for coagulation, biochemistry, blood, body fluids, tumor markers, hormones, allergens, autoantibodies, specific proteins, bacterial identification and antimicrobial susceptibility, pathogen antigens/antibodies, molecular tests, and other items.
