The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital has a cardiac function laboratory and an intensive care unit (CCU). The physician team consists of 10 people, including 3 with senior professional titles and 6 with intermediate professional titles; there is also 1 part-time expert; the nursing staff comprises 16 nurses, including 3 with intermediate professional titles and 1 specialist nurse in cardiovascular medicine from Nanjing City. The department can currently admit and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, valvular heart disease, and other cardiovascular diseases. It routinely performs interventional diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including percutaneous coronary angiography, drug-coated balloon angioplasty of the coronary arteries, percutaneous coronary stent implantation, intravascular ultrasound of the coronary arteries, intra-aortic balloon counterpulsation, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. The department has established a green channel for acute myocardial infarction, receives patients around the clock, 24 hours a day, and is committed to providing high-quality medical services to patients with acute and critical cardiac conditions.
