Nephrology Department

Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital’s Department of Nephrology is grounded in clinical practice, continuously strengthens the development of its professional team, carries out comprehensive clinical prevention and treatment of kidney diseases and research on new services and new technologies, innovatively applies advanced clinical diagnostic and treatment technologies, and improves its medical service capabilities. The department consists of the Nephrology Ward, Blood Purification Center, Peritoneal Dialysis Center, and specialist expert outpatient clinic. At present, Ward 201 has 32 authorized beds, 35 blood purification devices, 3 CRRT machines, and 2 automated peritoneal dialysis machines. The nephrology team has distinctive specialist expertise in primary glomerular diseases, various secondary kidney diseases (diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive renal injury, hyperuricemia, lupus nephritis, vasculitis, renal damage associated with dysproteinemia, etc.), tubulointerstitial diseases, the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic renal failure, various blood purification techniques, and the diagnosis and treatment of complex and critical illnesses.
