Pharmacy Department

The Department of Pharmacy of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital is a key medical specialty in Nanjing Municipality. It currently has 37 pharmacists, including 11 with a master's degree or higher, 22 with intermediate-level or higher professional titles, and 8 clinical pharmacists. The Department of Pharmacy comprises the outpatient pharmacy, emergency pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy, PIVAS, central pharmacy, drug warehouse, Clinical Pharmacy Office, etc., and is responsible for supplying medicines for medical care, teaching, and scientific research throughout the hospital, dispensing medicines, providing clinical rational medication services, and medication consultation. In conjunction with clinical practice, it carries out practical work and research in fields such as clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical information, rational medication management, and pharmacy affairs quality management. It is currently the only medical institution in Qixia District that conducts blood drug concentration monitoring.

Over the past three years, it has published 7 monographs, including "The Great Chinese Clinical Drug Dictionary", edited by Bai Qiujiang, which is a key planned book under the national "13th Five-Year Plan" and received the First Prize for Science and Technology from the Chinese Medical Education Association in 2020, and it has published more than 20 papers, obtained one invention patent, and already put the results into practical use.
