Recurrent Hyperglobulinemia Multidisciplinary Outpatient Clinic
Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine
Introduction
The Clinic for Abnormally Elevated Globulin specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with elevated globulin levels in the blood, aiming to provide patients with accurate diagnoses and personalized management plans. As an important component of the immune system, abnormally elevated globulin levels often suggest underlying diseases, such as multiple myeloma, lymphoma, autoimmune diseases (such as lupus erythematosus), chronic liver disease, or infection, among others. Through multidisciplinary collaboration and the use of advanced testing technologies, this clinic helps patients identify the cause and develop a scientifically sound treatment plan.
Eligible patients: If a medical check-up reveals elevated globulin, for example, above 40 g/L, or if it is accompanied by symptoms such as fatigue, bone pain, changes in urine output, recurrent infections, hepatosplenomegaly, or unexplained anemia/bleeding, prompt medical consultation is recommended.
