Introduction

The Neuroendocrine Tumor Multidisciplinary Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) Team of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, is led by Liang Yuelong, Director of the Department of General Surgery. Its members include chief physicians and associate chief physicians from multiple relevant departments, including General Surgery, Medical Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Gastroenterology, Pathology, Radiology, and Endocrinology. The team conducts comprehensive analyses of difficult cases, incorporates the hospital’s distinctive strengths, provides individualized diagnosis and treatment plans for patients with neuroendocrine tumors, optimizes overall therapeutic efficacy, and improves the quality of life of patients living with tumors.
