Difficult Lymphoma Multidisciplinary Outpatient Clinic
Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine
Introduction
Malignant lymphoma is one of the most common tumors of the hematopoietic system. Its clinical manifestations are diverse and nonspecific, making it easily confused with infectious diseases, rheumatic diseases, and others; moreover, routine medical examinations generally cannot provide effective screening, so the diagnosis is often missed or misdiagnosed. At the same time, there are dozens of pathological types of lymphoma; the types are complex and highly heterogeneous, and treatment methods differ by type. The MDT Outpatient Clinic for Difficult Lymphoma Cases was established to bring together experts from the Department of Hematology I, the Department of Radiotherapy, the Department of General Surgery, the Department of Surgical Oncology, the Department of Infectious Diseases, the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, the Department of Pathology, the Department of Radiology, the Department of Nuclear Medicine, and the Reproductive Medicine Center. Following the principle of “patient-centered” care and through multidisciplinary collaboration, it aims to establish a definitive diagnosis for patients earlier and provide specialized, individualized, precise, and comprehensive treatment, thereby optimizing treatment outcomes for patients!
