Diet, Emotion and Weight Management Multidisciplinary Clinic

Introduction

Eating disorders and weight management problems are becoming increasingly prominent in today's society, seriously affecting individuals' physical and mental health. To meet patients' diverse needs and improve treatment outcomes, we hereby apply to establish an MDT (multidisciplinary team) Eating Disorders and Weight Management Clinic. With changes in lifestyles and the social environment, the incidence of eating disorders (such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, etc.) and weight management problems is on the rise. A treatment model based on a single discipline often finds it difficult to comprehensively address patients' problems, whereas the MDT model can integrate multidisciplinary resources and provide patients with more systematic, personalized treatment plans.
