The department has subspecialties in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, abdominal wall hernia surgery, thyroid surgery, breast surgery, and lower-extremity vascular surgery. The department has long collaborated and exchanged expertise with expert teams from renowned hospitals in China and abroad to jointly improve the quality of medical care. The department is equipped with first-class diagnostic and treatment equipment, including a Japanese OLYMPUS high-definition 4K laparoscope, an electronic choledochoscope, an ETHICON ultrasonic scalpel system from Johnson & Johnson in the United States, and a German ERBE electrosurgical workstation.
