Laboratory Medicine
The department has introduced a smart laboratory management system and closely aligned its work with the strategies of the hospital and the Group. In addition to the traditional clinical laboratory, biochemistry laboratory, immunology laboratory, emergency testing laboratory, HIV initial-screening laboratory, microbiology laboratory, and molecular laboratory, it has also established a precision testing platform. This extends laboratory medicine from traditional routine-testing fields, such as biochemistry, hematology, cytology, and immunology, to the specialized-testing field of individualized “precision medicine,” based on multi-omics data and a multilayered knowledge network, thereby providing a more scientific, evidence-based foundation for the accurate clinical diagnosis of diseases, personalized tracking of treatment efficacy, and prognosis assessment.
