Urology
The department comprises three parts: an outpatient department, a specialized diagnostic and treatment area (urodynamics room, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy room, outpatient treatment room) and an inpatient department. It can perform fully minimally invasive treatment of urinary stones, managing various common, rare or complex urinary calculi, and has carried out flexible ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephroscopy, multi-endoscope combined treatment of upper urinary tract stones, stone composition analysis and other techniques. It can routinely perform transurethral plasmakinetic resection of the prostate and enucleation of the prostate. In the field of urological tumors, it can perform technically demanding procedures such as laparoscopic radical nephrectomy, renal tumor enucleation, radical cystectomy, radical prostatectomy, radical ureterectomy, and resection of complex adrenal tumors. For advanced urological tumors, the department can take into account individual patient differences and provide precise treatment plans and full-cycle management for tumor patients, greatly improving the quality of life and survival of cancer patients. Featured services: the department emphasizes individualization, minimally invasiveness and precision in treatment. It has reached an advanced level in the minimally invasive treatment of urinary stones and prostate diseases; director Wen Handong has demonstrated percutaneous nephroscopic surgery and prostate enucleation on several occasions at provincial and military urology annual conferences.
