Radiology
The Radiology Department of Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital is a Zhejiang standardized resident training base. Its imaging equipment includes Siemens Skyra 3.0T and GE HDxt 1.5T MRI, GE Discovery 710 PET/CT, third-generation Siemens Force dual-source CT, GE 64-row spiral CT, GE BrightSpeed 16-slice spiral CT, Philips FD-20 flat-panel DSA and DR, Shimadzu digital gastrointestinal imaging, GE digital mammography and dual-energy bone densitometry, and Siemens/Shimadzu mobile DR. Its independently developed Huazhuo PACS offers cloud films and mobile image access for digital management and remote diagnosis.
It provides routine CT, DR and MRI examinations, including contrast studies. DSA diagnosis and treatment are available Monday to Friday, with emergency interventions at all times. Other services include whole-body PET-CT tumor imaging, digital mammography, gastrointestinal and other contrast studies and special-needs imaging. Techniques include spiral CT 3D reconstruction, virtual endoscopy, CT angiography and perfusion, 3D and volume rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, low-dose lung scans, CT urography and small-bowel spiral CT contrast imaging, as well as MR hydrography, angiography, diffusion imaging and spectroscopy.
Further work includes dual-energy dual-source CT for conditions such as gout and kidney stones, liver perfusion and segment mapping, virtual liver tumor surgery planning, cardiac MRI, brain perfusion imaging and hippocampal spectroscopy. New procedures include CT-guided lung cancer ablation, bronchial artery embolization for advanced lung cancer, TIPS and radioactive seed implantation in tumors. The department collaborates with other specialties on multidisciplinary and precision care for lung cancer, aiming to meet advanced international standards.
