- Established: Independently established as a department in January 2020, it is a key development/distinctive specialty of the hospital. It currently has 4 medical staff members, including 1 with a senior professional title and 1 with an intermediate professional title, and 10 open beds.

- Core positioning: Focusing on the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and comprehensive treatment of common thoracic surgery diseases, including lung tumors, esophageal tumors, mediastinal tumors, thoracic trauma, and end-stage lung diseases. It provides patients with full-process medical services covering “prevention-diagnosis-treatment-rehabilitation”.
