【Department Establishment History】 Xueyuan Community Health Service Station was established in 2019. 【Department Honors】 It is currently a Demonstration Base for Appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine Preventive Healthcare Technologies Integrating Medical Care and Disease Prevention in Shenzhen, a Core Council Member of the Shenzhen Spleen and Stomach Disease Specialty Alliance, and a Member Unit of the Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Encephalopathy Specialty Alliance. 【Department Leadership】 Ma Yan serves as the person in charge. 【Scope of Services】 The community health service station is committed to primary-level clinical and public health services, including general practice diagnosis and treatment, comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine treatment, appropriate traditional Chinese medicine technology services, traditional Chinese medicine health management, chronic disease management, health education services and health literacy promotion, and family doctor services. 【Department Operations】 The community health service station currently has a general practice consultation room, a traditional Chinese medicine consultation room, and a comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine treatment room. It has 1 family doctor team comprising 5 medical and nursing staff, including 3 attending traditional Chinese physicians and 2 nurse supervisors, with an annual outpatient volume of more than 4,000 visits. To fully leverage the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, the department provides distinctive traditional Chinese medicine services such as Chinese herbal medicines, acupuncture, Honglu muscle-relaxing cupping, balancing fire cupping, acupoint application, electroacupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing; it cooperates with a smart pharmacy to provide Chinese herbal decoction pieces as well as decoction and home-delivery services; and it provides traditional Chinese medicine health management. The station adheres to the mission of safeguarding the physical and mental health of community residents, takes residents’ health needs as its guide, combines prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and health promotion, enters the community and serves the community, and provides residents within its jurisdiction with basic medical services and public health services.
