【Department Establishment History】 The Tongxin Community Health Service Station in Futian District, Shenzhen, was founded in 2018. 【Department Honors】 Affiliated with Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and supported by the high-quality medical resources of the main hospital, it is an important primary-care base for the hospital to bring high-quality medical resources to the grassroots and achieve coordinated development of general practice and specialties. 【Department Management】 The station operates under the coordinated development model of hospital administration and management by Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The main hospital provides multifaceted resources and expert-team support to ensure the quality of primary-care services. 【Scope of Services】 The station focuses on full-cycle health management for community residents and specializes in primary-care services such as general practice, distinctive traditional Chinese medicine therapies, chronic disease health management, elderly health management, health education and promotion, and family-doctor services, providing convenient, high-quality medical care close to home for local residents. 【Department Operations】 The station covers approximately 297.2 square meters and currently has a medical and nursing team of 10, including 5 general practitioners and 5 general-practice nurses. It has established specialty consultation rooms for general practice, traditional Chinese medicine, experts, and acupuncture and tuina. With the support of Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the main hospital assigns medical expert teams to work at the station on a long-term basis, providing local residents with a wide range of distinctive traditional Chinese medicine therapies, including acupuncture, tuina, spinal manipulation, cupping, bloodletting, needle-knife therapy, acupoint injections, low-frequency pulses, and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation. The station makes full use of the medical, human-resource, and technical strengths of the main hospital to bring high-quality medical resources to the grassroots, continuously improve its capacity to take on community residents’ health management, and gradually achieve coordinated development between hospitals and community health services, as well as between general practice and specialties. It has always adhered to the mission of safeguarding the physical and mental health of community residents and used residents’ health needs as its guide, going deep into, taking root in, and serving the community. With unwavering dedication, it protects health; through grassroots services, it warms people’s hearts. Looking ahead, the station will continue to rely on Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine as its strong support, deepen the hospital-community coordinated development model, place residents’ health at the center, and practice the service philosophy of “high-quality, convenient, and efficient” care.
