The department provides an oncology MDT clinic, cancer pain clinic, specialty clinics for lymphoma and myeloma, early cancer screening and prevention clinic, anemia specialty clinic, thrombocytopenia specialty clinic, and other disease-specific clinics, with a focus on oncology diseases. With support from Shenzhen’s “Three Famous Projects” in medical and health care, the department introduced the Three Famous Projects team led by Professor Hou Wei of Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, thereby improving its specialty clinical and research capabilities. To promote the inheritance of the academic thought of renowned senior Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, the department established the Shenzhen Renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician Yang Zhenjiang Studio and the Shenzhen Renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician Ouyang Chensheng Studio. The department integrates medical care, scientific research, and teaching, and adopts a comprehensive treatment model based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. It emphasizes both the integration of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation and the integration of treatment with prevention, health preservation, and rehabilitation, while also attaching importance to humanistic care and social responsibility. Adhering to the principle of “strengthening healthy qi and dispelling pathogenic factors, combining attacking and supplementing,” the department combines regulation and supplementation of the zang-fu organs with clearing heat and detoxification, softening hardness and dissipating masses, and promoting blood circulation and unblocking the collaterals, thereby systematically addressing the core pathogenesis of tumors—“deficiency in the root and excess in the branch”—inhibiting tumor progression, reducing the adverse effects of Western medical treatment, improving patients’ quality of life, and prolonging survival. Treatment modalities include Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese medicinal products, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, interventional therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, cellular therapy, and more than 30 appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal heat packs, Chinese herbal fumigation and washing, acupoint application, massage, gua sha, and cupping. The department also uses prepared prescriptions such as Jianpi Hewei Gao, Yisui Ningxue Gao, Fuzheng Buxue Gao, Guben Gao, Fuzheng Peiben Wan, Aitong Ding, Wenjing Tongluo Xiji, Qingre Jiedu Xiji, Xiongshui Gao, and Fushui Gao, achieving satisfactory clinical efficacy. 【Department Group Photo】
