Dermatology
The Department of Dermatology at Shanghai International Medical Center can basically meet the medical needs of most patients with skin diseases. It currently has specially appointed dermatology experts from Huashan Hospital, Xinhua Hospital, and the Ninth People’s Hospital (2 fixed experts and several non-fixed experts), as well as several full-time nurses. All patients can currently make appointments in advance. The department has 3 independent consultation rooms and 6 treatment rooms. In addition to photoelectric therapy, the department currently provides: 1. Injection procedures, including facial slimming, hyaluronic acid and other facial rejuvenation treatments, as well as minimally invasive cosmetic procedures such as thread lifting and fat filling; 2. The most common surgeries are excision of various skin birthmarks and benign tumors in children (the youngest child was only 5M+). The advantage is that general anesthesia is not required; sedation anesthesia is used, and after surgery the child only needs to be observed in the day ward for several hours, without hospitalization. This reduces the effects of anesthesia on children, and many parents of treated children have expressed approval of this approach; 3. Comprehensive treatment for various scars, including cesarean-section scars, traumatic scars, burn scars, keloids, and others. Fractional laser minimally invasive treatment is a specialty service. In addition, through telephone follow-up and feedback collection from outpatients, many patients and their families have expressed recognition of the treatment process and related services.
