The Health Examination Center of Shanghai International Medical Center is an independent health examination facility built with reference to the standards of the Joint Commission International (JCI) and five-star hotel standards. The center is equipped with instruments and equipment meeting international standards, and physicians with extensive clinical experience and senior professional titles, together with the nursing team, provide clients with high-standard health examination services, make relatively accurate diagnoses of early lesions and disease changes, and offer services in English, Japanese, and other foreign languages.

Since its establishment in 2014, the center has been continuously rated for many consecutive years as an excellent unit for health examination quality control in Shanghai. In terms of core technologies, the center’s medical laboratory testing technology employs various new and reliable testing technologies to provide a scientific basis for the diagnosis and prevention of diseases; its pathology technology detects exfoliated cells from various tissue fluids and analyzes changes in the DNA content of the nuclei of exfoliated cells, helping to detect early tumors to a certain extent. The center also has a pathology expert team with a high reputation and extensive experience in China, providing high-quality pathological diagnostic services for the differential diagnosis of early tumors.
