Shanghai International Medical Center (SIMC) has a comprehensive range of internal medicine subspecialties. The Department of Internal Medicine currently has 11 physicians, including 1 chief physician, 2 deputy chief physicians, and 2 physicians with doctoral degrees; most physicians come from renowned Grade III Class A hospitals in Shanghai. We maintain close ties with more than 10 Grade III Class A hospitals in Shanghai; more than 40 renowned experts from Shanghai practice at multiple sites in the various subspecialties of our hospital’s Department of Internal Medicine and hold expert outpatient clinics at fixed times each week. They primarily see patients with complex, difficult-to-diagnose diseases and rare diseases. The department currently has 18 general inpatient beds.
