Prosthodontics

As a long-established prosthodontics specialty with leading technology in the province, it has long guided the development of regional prosthodontic care and enjoys the trust and praise of patients. The department has a high-level professional team; more than 60% of its members hold doctoral degrees, including 2 graduate student supervisors, and several members serve as chair or vice chair of relevant professional committees of the provincial stomatological association and as editorial board members of academic journals. The department is equipped with modern dental treatment equipment and a comfortable clinical environment, and its services fully cover all types of prosthodontic treatment, mainly including: all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, metal crowns, post-and-core crowns, inlays, onlays and porcelain veneers for tooth defects; fixed bridges, implant-supported dentures, removable dentures (including precision attachments) and complete dentures for partial or complete tooth loss. In addition, the department actively introduces and applies advanced technologies from China and abroad, such as all-ceramic aesthetic restorations, digital restorative technology (e.g. CAD/CAM), precision attachments, implant robots and suction-retained dentures. The department emphasizes research innovation and the translation of results, undertakes a number of national and provincial or ministerial projects, participates in the formulation of industry standards, and is a member unit of the Prosthodontics Specialty Alliance of the National Center for Stomatology.
