At the same time, it provides comprehensive treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy for different disease types, thus forming a comprehensive treatment department featuring minimally invasive tumor therapy. It is one of the first “National Standardized Training Bases for Tumor Ablation Therapy” designated by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the organizer of the “First Pulmonary Tumor Ablation Training Course” of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; it is one of the first “Ablation Therapy Technology Training Bases” and “Radioactive Particle Therapy Technology Training Bases” designated by the Shandong Provincial Health Commission; it is the chairing institution of the Pulmonary Nodule Minimally Invasive Ablation Therapy Alliance of Shandong Provincial Hospital and presided over the formulation of the Shandong Administration for Market Regulation’s “Technical Standard for the Clinical Application of Image-Guided Thermal Ablation Therapy for Small Pulmonary Nodules.” The department has distinctive technical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary ground-glass nodules detected during physical examinations. It took the lead in carrying out simultaneous CT-guided biopsy and ablation therapy. The department’s accumulated clinical case volume and number of SCI articles published are both at leading levels domestically and internationally.
