The Hepatology Department covers the full-spectrum management of liver diseases, and its scope of diagnosis and treatment includes: 1. Common liver diseases: chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, viral hepatitis E, alcoholic liver disease, fatty liver disease, drug-induced liver injury, etc.; 2. Cirrhosis and complications: ascites, hepatic encephalopathy, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.; 3. Liver tumors: including benign tumors (such as hepatic hemangioma) and malignant tumors (such as hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, metastatic liver cancer, etc.); 4. Autoimmune liver diseases: such as autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis, etc.; 5. Hereditary metabolic and infectious liver diseases: including hereditary metabolic liver diseases, liver abscesses, and parasitic infections such as hepatic echinococcosis, etc.; 6. Liver diseases associated with pregnancy: intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, acute fatty liver of pregnancy, etc. The department has systematic diagnostic capabilities and a standardized treatment system for the above liver diseases.
