Laboratory Medicine

The Department of Laboratory Medicine of Sanya Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has a modern laboratory covering more than 500 square meters and comprises seven subspecialties: the Clinical Laboratory Group, Biochemistry Group, Immunology Group, Microbiology Group, Molecular Biology Group, Pathology Department, and Transfusion Department. The Department of Laboratory Medicine currently has 35 professional and technical staff, including 2 master's degree holders, 7 staff members with senior professional titles, 11 with intermediate professional titles, and 17 with junior professional titles. It is currently equipped with advanced laboratory instruments and equipment from China and abroad, including the SYSMEX XN3100 fully automated blood cell analyzer, SYSMEX CS-5100 fully automated coagulation analyzer, HTACHI7600 fully automated biochemical analyzer, HTACHI7080 fully automated biochemical analyzer, BECKMAN DXI800 chemiluminescence immunoassay system, Maccura i3000 chemiluminescence immunoassay system, BIO-RAD glycated hemoglobin testing system, BACT/ALERT3D fully automated blood culture system, fully automated microbial identification and antimicrobial susceptibility analysis system, and TIANLONG GENTIER 96 nucleic acid amplification instrument. Following the quality policy of high-quality service, continuous improvement, accuracy and timeliness, objectivity and impartiality, the Department of Laboratory Medicine provides round-the-clock medical laboratory examination and testing services for clinical departments and the broad patient population.
